Why we built this.
Every developer and sysadmin we know carries a folder of half-broken bookmarks for the tools they use weekly — Postman, jwt.io, mxtoolbox, a regex tester, a JSON formatter, three cloud consoles for cost comparisons. Each one a different brand, a different login, a different privacy policy. We wanted one honest place that was none of those things. Free. Private by architecture. Forever.

I am a co-founder of Logic Overdrive in Mumbai. Logic Overdrive is our cloud and AI services company — we run cloud consulting, AI/ML implementation, and virtual-CTO services for over 80 enterprise customers, partnered across Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. We build our own products on top: Logicloud (cloud infrastructure), CloudF9 (a no-code AI builder), and Powertoolz — this — our public-good developer toolkit. Separately, I am co-founder and CTO at Djobzy.com in Vancouver, where we built the Djobzy LLM that powers our AI hiring agents.
Most of my 30 years in tech have been spent where infrastructure is treated seriously — running operations for Barclays Bank, NSE Gift / NSE Singapore exchange / IFSC, leading global delivery for Microsoft through Nayamode. I have led teams of over 700 engineers and managed programs north of US$20M.
Powertoolz is the side of my work that doesn’t fit into any of those enterprise contracts. Every developer and sysadmin I’ve hired in the last decade carried the same scattered folder of bookmarks for tools they use weekly — Postman, jwt.io, mxtoolbox, a regex tester, a JSON formatter, three cloud consoles for cost lookups. Each one a different brand, a different login, a different privacy policy. Half of them happily ingest your sensitive data into someone else’s logging pipeline. I wanted one honest place that was none of those things.
The principle I refuse to compromise on: most tools should run in your browser, not on our servers. CSR keys, JWT tokens, SQL data, image bytes — none of that should leave your device just because you wanted to format some JSON or check an MX record. The architecture enforces this. It’s not a marketing claim.
When the broader cloud and AI platform that Powertoolz funnels into starts charging, the tools here will still be free. No paywall coming, no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers, no tier locks. If a tool is missing, broken, or just wrong for your workflow — tell me. The roadmap is shaped by what real developers say they actually use, not by feature-parity contests.

I am COO and a co-founder of Logic Overdrive. Most of my 26 years in tech have been on the operations side — heading complete Technology Operations for NSCCL (the clearing arm of NSE) for over five years, Client Delivery Head at Wipro, banking software implementations at 3i Infotech, platform consulting through Extrapreneurs. My job in every one of those was the same: making IT work reliably for businesses that cannot afford downtime.
Powertoolz is one of the projects I am most proud to put my name on — because it embodies a value Ketan and I both refuse to negotiate: free should mean free, and privacy should be enforced by code, not by trust. Most companies that say “free forever” eventually walk it back. We’ve architected this one so the cost of keeping the promise is rounding error against our broader cloud business — which means it stays free even at scale.
My role at Logic Overdrive is to make sure every claim on this site holds up. That the servers stay up when traffic spikes. That the support email gets answered. That “no analytics SDKs” stays true through every commit, forever. The engineering ambition is Ketan’s; the operational discipline that protects it is mine.

Powertoolz is built and operated by Logic Overdrive, an India-incorporated technology company headquartered in Mumbai. We are bootstrapped, developer-led, and building Powertoolz as a free public-good entry point to a broader cloud and infrastructure platform we are shipping in 2026.
